Faith Moore is from Columbus, Ohio. She was one of the first recipients of the I Know I Can Founders Scholarship, which afforded her the opportunity to attend Duke University. She graduated from Duke with a BA in English and Visual Art, and received her MFA in Photography + Integrated Media from Ohio University.
Faith Moore’s photography functions as a means of expressing the ephemeral quality of the human body. It’s ability to exist in more than one socially constructed landscape, while becoming a landscape and moving in and out of visibility. A life of mutations, deteriorations and the eventual subjection to individualized perceptions of physically intangible final places of rest.
